Women on the other hand have been called the shop addicts. They can roam around the mall try different pair of shoes before they can decide which of which to buy for themselves.  Ok, let’s not just blame it on the genes.  Women “like to shop,” because it is a label that “women like to shop.” Just as the girl is playing with the dolls and boys playing with their cars it’s because those are the standards place on them subconsciously by society.

Why most women love to shop? For many women shopping is like a stress relieving pill. They can find fulfillment in choosing new dresses, accessories, shoes, appliances and it brings joy and pride. For them it’s like a therapy. We should also remember that most of women are the trendsetter. They are the one who looks for what’s new and what’s good to wear. They will love watching fashion shows and research for the new Hollywood outfits. They just don’t want to be outdated.  Even without budget women loves going out and look for something good and what’s new in the craze.

Also shopping is one way to bond for women. They tend to go out with their girlfriends. They can try different dresses together, talk with different issues together whether a society issues or gossips or even gets new opinions from each other, for them it is an opportunity to relax and do whatever they want.  Also sometimes shopping is one way for women to communicate with themselves. It’s one way to know and evaluate them better. They will know which things attract them most what kind of art they are inclined to and what type of books they will prefer.

According to studies even though shopping online can make their life easier and more comfortable they still choose to shop the traditional way. This is because the place to shop is an attraction for them.

So don’t wonder why women can stay at malls for whole day. And that they can shop till they drop. It’s one way of paying their selves  on the effort or work that they had accomplish, for them it’s one way of rewarding themselves for a job well done.
